Customer Experience

Self-Service Kiosks

Give every customer a clear first step.

Let customers check in, identify an appointment or select the service they need when they arrive — while connecting that interaction directly to the Liberrex customer journey. Self-service kiosks are the physical entry point into appointments, queue management and service operations across the network.

Arrival experience

Arrival should not depend on a staffed reception desk.

At busy service locations, every customer should have a clear way to identify why they are there and enter the appropriate service journey without creating unnecessary reception work.

  1. 01

    Self-service arrival

Give customers a clear entry point when they reach the location.

  2. 02

    Consistent check-in

Apply the same arrival experience across relevant service locations.

  3. 03

    Less reception dependency

Handle routine arrival without an employee for every customer.

Self-service experience

One entry point for different types of visits.

Walk-in customers, booked appointments and location-specific services can start from the same physical kiosk, then continue into the configured Liberrex journey.

  • Walk-in service

Choose the required service and enter the relevant queue.

  • Appointment check-in

Identify a booked appointment when arriving.

  • Service selection

Choose among services configured for the location.

  • Ticket / queue entry

Receive the appropriate queue entry or floor ticket where supported.

  • Assisted path

Send the customer to the staffed step when the configured journey requires it.

Arrival context, not a ticket printer

Where walk-in ticketing is deployed, the kiosk can issue a floor ticket. Its value is connecting that arrival into the Liberrex customer journey.

Arrival flow

From arrival to the right service flow.

The kiosk is the on-site step that turns presence at the location into a connected service visit.

  1. 01

    Arrive

The customer reaches the branch, agency, facility or service point.

  2. 02

    Identify the visit

Select a service or identify an existing appointment.

  3. 03

    Enter the service flow

Liberrex connects the visit to the appropriate configured queue or customer journey.

  4. 04

    Continue to service

The customer receives the next relevant instruction, ticket or service step.

Connected experience

The kiosk is part of the journey, not a standalone device.

Self-service kiosks work with the Customer Experience modules deployed around the same visit. They do not replace queue management, booking or customer flow.

  • Appointments

Recognize planned visits when customers arrive.

  • Queue Management

Place walk-in customers into the relevant service flow.

  • Customer Flow

Preserve arrival context as the visit progresses.

  • Digital Signage

Coordinate waiting and service guidance where displays are deployed.

  • Feedback

Connect post-service feedback to the wider customer experience journey.

Kiosk configuration

Software designed to work at the service entrance.

Liberrex provides the self-service experience and its connection to the wider customer journey, deployed on kiosk configurations suited to the service environment where supported.

  • Liberrex kiosk experience

Check-in, appointment identification, service selection and queue entry according to the modules deployed at the site.

  • Physical kiosk hardware

The device configuration is defined per project to fit the service environment.

Customer interface

Keep self-service simple at the point of arrival.

Arrival should stay short and focused. The kiosk shows the actions that belong to that location rather than a generic self-service catalogue.

  • Clear choices

Show only the services and actions relevant to that location.

  • Language

Offer the interface languages required by the deployment configuration.

  • Accessibility

Accessibility requirements can be considered as part of the interface and hardware configuration.

  • Fast interaction

Keep arrival steps short so customers can enter the service flow quickly.

Questions

Questions about Self-Service Kiosks

What is a Liberrex Self-Service Kiosk?

It is the physical self-service entry point into the Liberrex customer journey. When customers reach a branch, agency or service point, they can check in, identify an appointment or select a service and enter the right service flow. Queue Management organizes live waiting. Appointments & Booking plans visits before arrival. Customer Flow Management keeps those stages connected. The kiosk is not a standalone ticket printer and not a transactional machine. Scope is defined per deployment.

What can customers do at the kiosk?

Customers can register their arrival, choose a service configured for the location, identify a booked appointment, and enter the relevant queue or service flow. Where walk-in ticketing is deployed, the kiosk can issue a floor ticket. When the configured journey needs a staffed step, the visit continues into that flow rather than ending at the kiosk. Available actions follow the services and modules deployed at that site.

Can customers check in for an appointment?

Yes, when Appointments & Booking is deployed. Booked customers can identify their appointment at the kiosk when they arrive, then continue into the service flow configured for that location. Published BTK and BIAT stories show on-site interactive kiosks used with appointment journeys. The kiosk does not replace the booking interface; it recognizes a planned visit at the physical entrance.

Can a kiosk work with Queue Management?

Yes. The kiosk is how many walk-in customers enter the live waiting and service demand that Queue Management organizes. After service selection or appointment identification, Liberrex can place the visit into the relevant queue or customer journey. Queue Management then handles tickets, routing and service points. The two capabilities work together: the kiosk is the physical entry point, not a second queue system.

Does Liberrex require one specific kiosk hardware model?

No. The public product is the Liberrex self-service experience, not a hardware catalogue. Physical kiosk hardware is defined per project so it can fit the service environment and the required customer journey. Published deployments show floor-standing touchscreen kiosks in branch networks. Liberrex does not claim to manufacture every hardware component, and this page is not a transactional kiosk catalogue.

Can kiosk configurations differ by location?

Yes. Organizations can standardize the arrival experience across branches, agencies and service points while keeping the local configuration each site needs — available services, appointment check-in, and how visits enter the queue or customer journey. Hardware approved for one location can also differ from another when the environment requires it. The Liberrex experience remains the self-service entry into the same operating model.
